Privacy and Cookie Policy

Information and purposes

We receive the information you submit, such as your name, contact information, company, project details and files. Employment applications may include work history, qualifications, references and other application responses. We use these records to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, conduct business and evaluate applications. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account details or other information unrelated to your request.

Our website and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times and technical logs to deliver pages, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems.

Your cookie choices

Optional analytics and embedded content are off until you choose to enable them. Rejecting optional features does not prevent you from browsing or submitting forms. Use the Privacy choices button on any page to accept, reject or separately select analytics and embedded content. Withdrawing analytics permission disables further collection by our site and reloads the page to stop the previously loaded script. This does not recall information already sent to a provider.

When your browser exposes an active Global Privacy Control signal to the website, we disable both optional categories, even if you previously accepted them. You can also manage cookies through your browser. Browser settings may affect forms and other functionality.

• Privacy preference: The first-party nvm_privacy_v1 cookie records your choices, notice version and expiration for 180 days. It is used to respect your preferences rather than measure visits.
• Essential sessions and security: ASP/PHP session identifiers and form-security storage may support forms, verification and abuse prevention. Session storage generally ends with the browser session; security providers manage any additional security storage under their policies.
• Optional analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and measure how pages are used. We configure a 180-day cookie lifetime, which may renew during use. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our site configuration. Cookie lifetime is separate from retention in the Analytics account. The account is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with reset on new user activity disabled. These controls do not limit most aggregated standard reports. We enable email redaction and redaction of selected personal-information query parameters as additional safeguards; please do not put personal information in website URLs. Automatic form-interaction, site-search and video-engagement measurement are disabled.
• Optional embedded content: YouTube videos (using the privacy-enhanced domain) and Microsoft presentation viewers connect to their providers only after embedded content permission. Providers receive technical information, including your IP address, and may use their own storage or cookies. Their behavior and storage lifetimes depend on the provider, your account and browser settings. Privacy-enhanced video embedding does not mean no data is transmitted.

Providers and sharing

Website hosting, email delivery and security services process information needed to deliver the service. The employment application uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection; other forms may use a locally generated verification image. Google Analytics receives analytics information only after analytics permission. YouTube and Microsoft receive information when you permit their embedded content. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.

Provider details: Google and YouTube privacy policy, Google cookie information, Cloudflare privacy policy, and Microsoft privacy statement. These providers may process information outside your state or country.

Retention

Inquiries, quote records and employment applications may remain in company email, downloaded files and business records. We have not yet adopted a fixed deletion schedule for these records. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request deletion. Some records may need to be retained for business transactions, legal obligations or a dispute. Cookie durations are described above; those durations do not determine how long business records are retained.

Privacy requests

Depending on applicable law and the context of your information, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling. Legal rights and exemptions vary, including for business contacts and employment records. Send requests to info@northernvalleymachine.com or call 218-773-4010. Tell us the request and enough information to locate the record. Do not email identity documents unless we arrange a suitable verification method. We may need to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing records.

If we decline your request, you may ask us to review the decision using the same contact details and the subject “Privacy request appeal.” Where applicable, you may also contact the Minnesota Attorney General or your local privacy regulator.

Policy changes

We will update this page when website practices change. A material change to optional tracking purposes will require a new choice.
